How exciting. That game comes out in November. You might want to buy that game.
CUT TO LOGO JUST BEFORE MAN HITS GROUND
so. many. explosions.
It does look a bit more stealthy. Which is cool, I guess.
This really does look like just another CoD game. I see nothing special here.
They have some mad hacking skills. EXPLOSION.
We’re being told that the Ghosts aren’t like your normal soldiers. No sir, these men wear SCARY MASKS.
THERE’S A SHARK. I hope the Shark attacks me.
More scuba diving. This game has so much scuba diving.
Rappelling on a BOAT. Or is it an oil rig. RUNNING OVER A METAL CATWALK WITH EXPLOSIONS.
ice ice water ice car ice diving BOAT
shooting shooting shooting SOUTH AMERICA
dog dog dog
Earthhhhhhquake.
HELICOPTAS. HELICOPTA CRASH
running running running WATERFALL
Hints of dubstep. REVOLUTIONARY.
Smoke. Smoke makes map. Fancy.
Oceans! Fire! Northern Lights! VIDEO GAEM.
Ok, the booth screen does look pretty damn impressive.
’10 Years Later’. 10 years after what?
Ok, this look at the booth is it now.
The booth screen is 122 feet large. What a waste of money.
The CoD E3 booth has a screen that wraps around ‘190 degrees’. Ummm.
Ok, so that demo’s over. Multiplayer time?
Riley is *totally* going to die.
Woah, this is fairly brutal. Riley’s ripping people open with his teeth.
This is your classic stealth level which are always reallllly boring.
You’re basically controlling the dog as you would control a remote control drone. It’s as if the dog has no conscience of its own.
This mission’s set just outside of San Diego. Which makes me wonder…what’s the difference between Ghosts and Black Ops 2? How can the two games fit together in the same universe?
Ok, they just showed gameplay. To be fair, the dog is pretty badass.
Oh, and vibrating pads so that the Seal can guide him. And a camera on his back.
The dog can take direction thanks to its ear piece. That’s so stupid.
The dog is called ‘Riley’. That’s a stupid name.
SHUT UP ABOUT THE DOG, GEOFF. KILL THE DOG.
The movie industry is a dictatorship, but this isn’t. I’m guessing it’s a bit more communist then.
Oh god they’re taking this dog so, so seriously. Telling us we’ll get excited when it comes on screen.
‘I’m all about dogs, man’. Oh joy.
Stephen Gaghar is talking about his so-called ‘plot’.
DOG DOG DOG.
Oh, the game starts with something that decimates our government. That’s a unique concept that no game has ever explored before.
‘An all new story’. Don’t be silly, there’s never been a story.
Well that’s that. That looked a bit normal.
Man, your character sure is good at swimming.
now there’s an underwater ‘run away from debris’ scene! HOW FUN AND ORIGINAL.
oh no your friend is almost dead.
oh no your arm is trapped but your friend saves you it will all be fine.
MASSIVE EXPLOSIONS.
Ooh, remote control torpedo.
This is so exciting. I also never realised there were so many cargo crates on the bottom of the ocean.
UNDERWATER EXPLOSIONS.
Moar swimming. Lots more swimming.
FADE TO BLACK, ‘in the interest of time’.
What is life.
Oh wow, they are literally shooting guns underwater.
He’s scuba diving with a gun held out in front of him. Odd technique.
Fingers crossed for a shark attack.
Ok so they’re scuba diving. Must say that it’s graphically gorgeous.
WATER. WATER AND FISH. I was told that the fish can move out the way. REVOLUTIONARY.
Starting off by showing us a level: ‘Into the Deep’. Apparently it’s brilliant.
They’re hosting this conference so that all of us at home can see the gameplay. So thoughtful.
CEO of Activision Publishing is out.
Geoff’s really hyping up Call of Duty. Come on guys, it’s not that great.
Geoff Keighley and iJustine are hosting. Ughhhhh.
I like the music they’re using.
Ok, the conference is starting. We’re going to be shown gameplay, we’re told.
Welcome, by the way! It’s going to be a fun way to spend this Sunday evening (in the UK, at least).
