On September 5th, 2008, Jitterbug and Nerves decided that they’d had enough of the work-a-day world and set off into uncharted seas, taking with them only the most essential things.  The Talkingship podcast feature their broadcasts home to friends and family, detailing their thoughts on today’s culture as well as explaining why they picked certain movies, music, and games to bring with them.

Shortly after the first broadcast, their airwaves were pirated and posted for all the world to hear.  Since then the show’s fanbase has grown into a community who gather together every Sunday to hear what our two seaward bound hosts are up to.

Eventually, a group of crewbies showed up to help out, and a couple of them even started their very own Talkingship podcast!  Farva and Fisherman took over the Game Lounge portion of the ship and started broadcasting more nonsense every Wednesday to keep the fanbase up to date on the newest video game news.  Everything was running smoothly… until..

TRAGEDY struck during the recording of Episode # 100 of Talkingship.  Nerves declared he was sick of putting up with Jitterbug and decided to quit the show.  Episode # 100 was supposed to be the final show, but the ever faithful crewbie, Muttonchop, stepped in and revealed the truth about himself.  After crashing the ship and sending Jitterbug and Nerves to their death, Muttonchop unmasked himself as the devil incarnate!   He declared that Talkingship was too important to his overall world plan and instead of letting the show end, he was going to force Jitterbug and Nerves to work THREE times as hard!

TS Game Lounge

The original Talkingship show was hence forth known as Talkingship Flagship and continued to be released on Sundays.  On Mondays, the devil forced the boys to talk about movies and release Talkingship About Movies.  And on Tuesdays he wanted to hear some music, so he made them create the Talkingship About Music podcast!  Farva and Fisherman managed to escape the carnage, and they are still faithfully recording the Talkingship Game Lounge every Wednesday.  There was hardly any time to rest on the ship anymore, but some crewbies have said they can hear Muttonchop laughing at night as he continues to plot the expansion of the Talkingship Network!  Rumor has it that he is planning even MORE Talkingship shows in the future!
