After last year’s epic battle between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, EA are preparing for round 2 against Activision. This year they’ve prepared Medal of Honor: Warfighter, which is guaranteed one award: the stupidest name ever. However, having seen this gameplay trailer it does look like the game could be pretty good.

We can’t gleam much information from the trailer, except for the fact that the game is dark. You can’t see your hand in front of your face when you’re a warfighter, it seems. Apart from that the trailer is pretty traditional: lots of shooting, emphasis on the game being ‘global’, and highlighting the pre-order bonus, which is a 40 hour headstart in multiplayer. Oh, and there’s dubstep, obviously a requirement for game trailers nowadays. The game comes out October 23 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
