A new take on the stealth genre.
Over the past few years, independent studios have been changing everything we know about gameplay. The Novelist looks set to continue this trend, with a fascinating take on a stealth game. You play as a ghost, inhabiting a house currently occupied by a novelist and his family. You must watch them, help them and find out about their lives: without being seen. You can read the family’s thoughts, and you’ll end up affecting the storyline through the choices you make. The game’s being developed by Kent Hudson, who’s previously worked on Bioshock 2 and Deus Ex: Invisible War. It’s out this summer, and is currently being pitched on Steam Greenlight.
