Deadlocked 2

My second novella, Deadlocked 2, has just been published. A hell of a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (especially the blood) went into writing this part of the series.

Deadlocked 2 picks up right where the first one left off, with Laura on the boat headed out into Hailey Bay, away from the zombies on the dock. This story is told from her perspective as she is forced to confront a series of challenges to keep her family safe. I don’t want to say any more to keep from giving anything away, as well as to not spoil anything about the first one if you haven’t gotten around to reading that yet.

I’ve come to the realization that this needs to be a four part series, with the third focusing on the Billy character and the fourth as a finale that ties up all the storylines. This has been a hell of an adventure, and it’s incredibly gratifying to see the kind reviews that the first part of the series has garnered thus far. It’s also pretty fantastic to see my book being sold on sites like Nook, Diesel, and iTunes (get with the BALL Amazon! Approve Deadlocked already!!)
