Apple’s about to unveil the future of iOS. And we’re live blogging it.
That’s right, Apple’s annual WWDC keynote is here. We’re expecting to see an all new iOS 7, redesigned by Jony Ive, as well as a new version of OS X. And that’s not forgetting the surprises they likely have in store for us (iRadio, anyone?). We’ll be live blogging the whole thing right here.

If a thief tries to wipe or turn off Find My iPhone, they cannot reactivate the device. Which means that as long as you get to Find My iPhone quickly, you can stop the thief from getting any use for it. That’s awesome.
You can completely disable an iPhone via Find your iPhone even if wiped via Activation Lock
Activation Lock now. Which does what?
You can block people from phone, FT and Messages too!
Can do audio only FaceTime! SO COOL. Notification sync with iPad (and Mac, I’m guessing).
iPad as well, obviously.
Free! Ad Free if you have iTunes Match, which is only £20 a year. Starts in the US, but will launch in the UK very soon, I guess.
Ahh its free with ads, but no ads if your a Match subscriber
Works with Apple TV as well. Nice.

iOS in the Car. They talked about this last year as well, but not much came from it.
And Wikipedia! And Bing! (but not Google. Awkward).
Oh, it has lovely integration with settings, and TWITTER!
Yes!! Turn on Bluetooth etc with Siri
You can change its name, as well, I think.
New Siri voice, cool!
Siriiiii. Which looks much nicer now.
This could kill Instagram.
There’s a new share tab, which makes social photo stuff really awesome. Video sharing is supported by iCloud as well!
Can share photos straight to iCloud and AirDrop, which is pretty cool.
You can share the photos via AirDrop right in the app
You can scrub through that year view, which is awesome.
It notes the interesting places from each year, as well.
Collections as well, which organise Moments together intelligently. And you can view by year, if you want. That’s great.
It’s all automatic, obviously. And includes location names automatically.
The Photos app helps with organisation, by having ‘Moments’ based on photo time/date and location.
Ah, the camera is soooo nice. Filters built in as well! (and they’re much nicer than Instagram, obviously).
Available on iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPad Mini and iPod Touch. Sorry, people stuck in 2011.

Can instantly share to any friend’s iOS device that’s near you.
Moar features. AirDrop’s included! YES.
Lots of transparency as well. Keyboard and Control Center have your content visible behind them, but faded out and blurred. Really nice.
Control Center is much, much better designed than anything in Android is.
These animations are really great.
iCloud tabs are all visible as well.
You have shared links, stories posted in your Twitter feed, that you can access right from Safari. Can have more than 8 tabs as well.
All your favourites are visible from the omnibox as well. Cool.
That edge of display swiping is used for back and forward in Safari as well.
Tabs look a lot nicer now as well. And it has that iCloud keychain support as well.
Safari’s a lot cleaner. Has an omnibox at the top.
You see the screens for each app now, instead of just the icon. Totally stolen from Android, but I don’t care.
It uses background cycles for ‘intelligent scheduling’. Knows when to send resources to apps. And fetches when you wake your phone, when you’ve got a good connection. Notifications also update apps in the background.
Proper multitasking for all apps, with great battery life.

Available from anywhere, including the lock screen.
It’s basically toggles accessible by swiping up from the bottom of the device.
New features as well! Starting off with Control Center.
WHEN IS THIS OUT.
Available from the lockscreen as well.
Notification Center is really nice. There’s a ‘Today’ view which is a lot like Google Now.
Lots of sliding to trash, get options etc.
Game Center looks nicer as well. Mail is really nice, the typography is great.
The keyboard is redesigned as well. Much cleaner. And swiping from the edge of display goes back/forwards. So clever. MULTIPLE PAGES IN FOLDERS.
The calendar is really clean and gorgeous now as well.
Ooh, you can pinch to get a really nice overview. With a clock built in as well.
Weather has dynamic backgrounds that show you lightning, snow etc. in the backgrounds.
Opening apps has a nice effect as well.
Oh god this is brilliant.
Game Center is so much better and FELT FREE!
The new weather app is gorgeous. The new Messages is stunning. Calendar and Mail are incredible, and Phone is superb.
Everything is new. When you rotate the device in your hand the wallpaper changes a bit with some crazy parallax awesomeness.

They have definitely improved scrolling. Which sounds minor, but is surprisingly important.

New geeky stuff that Safari does under the hood makes it faster than other browsers and reduces CPU usage
