Cage through the years.

Nicholas Cage has been the subject of many discussions here on the ship, and while those discussions have varied from his sanity to the authenticity of his hair, never once has anyone ever accused him of being immortal. Until today!

On eBay, someone posted a photo of an unnamed man from Civil War times that bears a striking resemblance to the famous actor. The person selling the photo is asking for $1 million and says that he can prove the authenticity of the photo to anyone who is serious about buying it. The seller insists that this photo is proof that Cage is actually a vampire that has been reinventing himself every 75 years to avoid suspicion!  I think we can all agree that the person selling the photo is having a good laugh and is hopefully not serious about believing that Cage is a vampire – BECAUSE HE’S CLEARLY THE HIGHLANDER!

Think about it.  Cage couldn’t be a vampire – despite his paleness, we’ve seen him in sunlight plenty of times.  He also eats a lot, as proven by his fluctuating weight.  And don’t vampires glitter or something?  Anyways, he has to be a Highlander.  He has been traveling through the world for centuries, lopping off the heads of other immortals in a battle for the ultimate quickening.  I don’t really have a lot of proof to go on here, but come on, if he was a vampire, would he have really done THIS in a movie once?

There you have it.  Proof that Cage is an immortal!!
