Updated: Six New GTA V Screens!

Rockstar tease us all yet again with six new GTA V pictures!

The first shows…wait for it…FIGHTER JETS!

Yep. Planes. A sorely missed vehicle type in GTA IV, make their return in style. Of course, nothing is confirmed yet, however I think it’s pretty safe to say you’ll be admiring that beautiful skyline from the cockpit of a military grade bird.

Next up marks the return of the ever-popular “CHEETA”.

The much loved car (also absent from GTA IV) is a real fan favourite, mainly due to it’s impeccable handling. Who knows whether that number plate is some sort of coded release date or not!

Finally we get a picture of a cyclist’s ass…

Is this a sign we’ll be biking across the beaches of Los Santos? Hopefully. Oh, and preferably with an Uzi in hand.

That’s all for now folks, but Rockstar have promised a few more screens expected later this week, so don’t forget to check back.

As promised, Rockstar have dropped another three images for us to drool over as we anticipate the next installment.

These ones fall under the sub-heading “Leisure” on the Rockstar site, so expect to be taking part in these extra-curricular activities when the game lands.

First up we’ve got what seems to be motocross. Expect to be racing across the mountains with some serious horsepower between your thighs!

Tennis. The one thing that GTA always needed to become the ultimate crime franchise. I’m kidding of course, but this still looks fun.

For the adrenaline-junkies out there, base-jumping seems to be on the Los Santos agenda yet again if this screen is anything to go by.

Hopefully that’s whet your appetite. Rockstar haven’t hinted at any more information drops for the foreseeable future so make the most of these, one thing’s for sure though: it’s certainly looking like a whole lot of fun!

  • Jitterbug

I love the GTA games. I know the last one has a ton of haters, but I don’t think there’s any other sandbox series that does more for helping expand the genre than this one. Looking forward to what they have in store for this one!

  • Jake

I agree! I loved the last game. I understand why some found it jarring as it was quite reserved compared to San Andreas, but it introduced some brilliant ideas and fixed a lot of the problems San Andreas harboured. This next game looks like the best of both worlds. Should be great!

  • Marksman Shrimp

I love GTA too, and really loved the more serious approach that IV took toward the formula (somewhat of a minority view i know) but i do hope they make the next one a little cheerier, maybe a dash funnier, give it some more of that San Andreas wonder and joy back into it, since they’re returning to the city anyway.
