This American Life is the greatest podcast out there (this comes from a shameless self-promoter who stars in two podcasts, so you know it’s true), and their involvement in this movie makes me happy. Mike Birbiglia is a frequent contributer to This American Life, and this is a story that would likely be told on that show – but it’s been turned into a movie. I think this looks fantastic.
