Welcome back for another Free Music Monday! This week I feel like I fell back into the 90’s with my pick: Leslie Hunt’s album, Your Hair Is On Fire!

Let me explain that. Back in the 90’s I had a fascination with pop bands led by female singers with a quirky voice. I listened to a ludicrous amount of Belly, as well as the lead singer, Tanya Donelly’s solo material. Juliana Hatfield stole my heart, Save Ferris delighted me, and The Breeders made me gush. I can’t explain this addiction, but it was a sickness that I happily gorged myself on.

That brings me to Leslie Hunt (by the way, have you ever seen that Archer episode where he keeps making fun of a girl who’s last name is Tunt by saying, “Oh, tum on!”) This album features songs that could have easily slipped on to any of the albums I cherished in the 90’s. I definitely think it’s worth giving a shot. The song that stuck out the most to me was track 7, I Only Care About You When You’re Gone.
