The Vita has become a wonderful sanctuary for top-notch indie games, and OlliOlli looks like another great game to join that catalogue. Developed by Roll7 and out on January 21st, OlliOlli is an arcade-y skateboarding game that seems to be rad (if you’ll excuse my skater-language).

The release date announcement trailer is above, and it shows off the game’s 50 levels and their punishing difficulty. Based on the trailer, it’s going to be one of those infuriatingly difficult but incredibly addictive titles. It also features a “Daily Grind”, a worldwide challenge where you only get one shot to pull off a very complicated and super-long combo on a specific run.

The game looks great and will be out in just over a week, so if you’ve got a Vita this is well worth looking out for.
