Hello everyone! My name is Jarrett (no, I unfortunately do not have a nickname yet) and I’m a new staff member for the great TalkingShip. Allow me to introduce myself.
I’m an 18 year old college student, based out of Pennsylvania. I am in a ska band called Critical Havoc (please like us on Facebook, will you?) and I’m studying English Writing and Literature. I’ve always wanted to be part of the Ship’s staff, and once I saw that DJ had started recruiting for new writers, I took the opportunity.
I’ve been a big fan of the good old ship for a couple years now, discovering the main podcast after listening to the Sarcastic Gamer Community Cast that Jitterbug and Nerves recorded. I redirected myself to the Flagship Podcast, and was hooked ever since then!
As for what content I’ll be releasing? Let me show you…
- I’ll be using the Ship as a creative outlet for my work in fiction, poetry, art, and most importantly, my music.
- I’ll share some stories and adventures for pure anecdotal merriness, and who knows? Perhaps there will be a nice little moral at the end of them!
- I’ll be letting all of you know about the latest and greatest music, books, television shows, and movies.
- I’ll be giving you guys some tutorials and reviews of some videogames that I come across. Add “Tactical Jok3r” on Xbox if you want to play together some time!
- I’ll be letting you know about ways you can enlighten yourself and improve your life.
- I’ll be sharing art and quotes I find inspiring.
I’m very excited for the future of this website, community podcast, and the Ship in general. So, let’s begin, shall we?
