This Call of Duty: Ghosts advertisement, found on Microsoft’s Xbox One website, could be hinting at the console’s release date.
The ad clearly shows a November 5 release date, strongly suggesting that Microsoft’s new console will release before then. Ghosts itself will be releasing on November 5, but the fact that this ad specifically shows the Xbox One version means that the console will likely be out before then. This would, of course, allow for the game to be released across Xbox 360, PS3 and Xbox One on the same day.
Previous rumors have hinted at a November 29 release date, but this ad seems to refute them.
It should be noted that the release date only appears on the UK version of the site: on the US version, no release date is visible. This could lend some authenticity to the rumor, as Microsoft clearly don’t want us to know something…
We’ll be sure to let you know when Microsoft have officially confirmed the release date: an announcement they’re expected to make at Gamescom.
