My second daughter, Ivy Blue Wise, was born at 6:08 pm mst on February 11th.  She weighed 8lb 2oz and is 19.5 inches long.  Everything about the delivery was better then we could have hoped (hint – ladies, say YES to the epideral!  Trust me!!) and Ivy came into the world with barely a whimper of a cry.  And oddly, the TV was on in the room and Tim Burton’s version of Willy Wonka was on.  Ivy was born at the exact moment that the doll heads catch on fire when Willy is announcing the re-opening of the factory… Kinda makes me think Ivy is gonna be an emo girl! lol

My wife and I are relaxing after barely a wink of sleep, but we wanted to say, “Thank you,” to all of the Talkingship fans who have been sending love our way.  We appreciate it!  Also, we have to give a very sincere thanks to the one and only, Uncle Tim (aka Nerves) who helped tremedously by taking care of our 6 year old throughout the process.  I’m glad you were there to help!
