A FREE Short Story

After finishing the second installment of the Deadlocked series, I needed a break. I’d had enough zombies to last an undead lifetime (rimshot) and I needed a quick palette cleanser. What better to do than write a ghost story?!

The idea for A Cold, Cold Death For Thomas Baylor came from a random (utterly random) song that popped into my head. The title of the story, and a part of a song that appears in it, just burst into existence in my mind for no good reason. And with that, the story was unleashed. I sat down to write down the lyrics of the song in my head, knowing that I would turn it into a story, and suddenly I found myself writing, THE END. You’ve got to love those types of stories!

When all was said and done, Thomas Baylor’s tragic tale spanned a paltry 2,376 words. That’s hardly worth charging for, so I decided to put it out for free. That’s right! 100% free of charge.
