Default Where the Wild Things Are

On a TS Episode not long ago, Nerves reviewed this movie and said that he didn't really care for it. I got a chance to see it recently, and I disagree with him a lot. I liked this movie quite a bit. I felt like it was entertaining for my daughter, but way more complex then she could comprehend. I think it is nearly a perfect kids movie because of this (not better then Wall-E or Up or, well, just about any Pixar movie.) It was entertaining for the kids - perhaps a teeny bit scary - yet complex enough to keep an adult interested. Have you seen it? What did you think?

Yeah, I'm with Jitterbug on this one. I freaking loved this movie, and it's not just kids that don't fully comprehend it, there are several adult members of my family that are so cut off from their childhoods that the entire monster sequence made no sense to them. Maybe it's just the therapist in me (and often it is), but this was my favorite movie of last year.
My only gripe about the BluRay is that the picture is so clear, that it makes the CGI effects, like the monsters jumping super high, look especially digitized. This is probably an issue with all HD media, but it seemed particularly glaring in this movie.
Nice work on the forum, guys!
