Default Exit Through the Gift Shop

This a great documentary made by Banksy, the famous street artist from England. It chronicles the life of a filmer that followed around the major street artist of the world (space invader, swoon, shepards fairy, banksy, ect), and then turns into an artist himself called Mr. Brainwash. A really great film all around and reminds me a good deal of F for Fake, in that at about the hour mark the whole thing changes around and you can't really tell what is a joke on the art community who are paying $100,000+ on original street art from these guys now that some experts critiqued them. It is on netflix streaming right now alond with F for Fake, which is very much the original mocumentary.

There is also a lot of debate about this movie about whether or not it is a 100% true story or if it is a set up. Still, great movie.

Part of it is defiantly real, the guy did follow some street artists around, but after that who knows if Banksy didn't set up the art world to buy the biggest pieces of shit he could think of or if some silly Frenchman did it on his own..

One of my top movies of 2010. It leaves you confused at the end, you don't know if you want to root for him or to hate the guy in the end.

By the way, don't be outraged by the prizes of the art. Most of the times the money gets spilt all over the place and the artist gets the minimal percent.

Default DVD and Blu-Ray

HD DVD had a head start in the high-definition video market, as Blu-ray Disc sales were slow to gain market share.
