As many of you may have heard Obama has a job speech coming up where he will announce the creation of many jobs and how we are going to get people working. You may also have heard that he was told he could not give the speech on the same night that the Republicans held their candidate debate or some shit. I just can't believe how disrespectful congress and the Republican party can possibly be to our leader. They are a bunch of dumb arrogant fucks who don't give a rat's ass about this country (or so it seems). They just want to see their candidate get into office regardless of what it may cost. Luckily for them President Obama is a very level headed gentleman who simply let it go, and pushed his speech back. Now it interferes with the opening game of the NFL season and that sucks because if it were between the shitty republican debate and Obama's speech easy call. Anyways, thought I'd like to hear your guys' thoughts on the matter.

As much of a bleeding heart liberal as I am, I have a feeling his speech isn't going to be much more then an obvious attempt to get his face back in front of potential voters. I don't have a lot of faith that he is going to be putting forth any sort of actual "plan" and is only doing this to look like he's trying to do something. I like Obama, and I plan on voting for him again, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't been underwhelmed with his presidency.

That being said, he is head and shoulders above the Bush administration. I was watching some politics show and it showed the difference in jobs and such, and Obama's was much higher in jobs. So whatever he is doing is obviously having a decent effect on our dismal economy.

Agreed, the idea that conservatives are blaming Obama for the economy is hilarious. Do none of them remember that the housing crisis and the stock market crash happened during BUSH'S administration? When Bush left office, the DOW was at 7500. That is the lowest it had been in a decade after losing more in just a few days then the stock market had lost (percentage wise) since the Great Depression. But that was probably Obama's fault. Cause even though he wasn't the president, he was alive, and that was enough.

Not only that but he befriended terrorists and wasn't born in America, that economy ruining son of a bitch. Yeah I have serious doubts that I'll be voting Republican in any coming elections. That one gal who is talking about running for president was commenting on Obama scheduling the speech on the same day as the debate, and she said it was either because 1. He is insecure about his chances of re-election or 2. He doesn't want everyone to see the face of the next American president. If she gets voted in, Colby is joining the Soviet Union. Dumb bitch.
